Een app die je kunt gebruiken zonder dat je je zorgen moet maken over wat er met je data gebeurt, die willen wij aanbieden. Dat is ons doel en daar zijn ook voorwaarden voor jou en engagementen voor ons aan verbonden.

Wat doet Celloko met je data?

Wij slaan op:

• Je gebruikersnaam (liefst je nummerplaat, maar dat mag ook iets anders zijn, als het maar leesbaar is op je voertuig.)
• Je status
• Je persoonsnaam
• Je telefoonnummer
• Je adres
• Je e-mail
• Je paswoord
• Je automerk
• Je land
• Je contacten
• Je gespreksgeschiedenis
• Je foto’s

Ja, zeg, zo veel data! En mijn privacy dan? Als je de absolute anonimiteit wil, dan maak je een uniek en onpersoonlijk e-mailadres aan, een paswoord en vind je je eigen gebruikersnaam uit die je op je voertuig aanbrengt, zodat mensen je kunnen terugvinden. Wij weten dan alleen je e-mailadres, je paswoord en je gebruikersnaam. De rest zijn onze zaken niet.

Onze Firebase-server is niet verbonden aan een database van een overheidsdienst die toegang geeft tot uw persoonlijke informatie. Wij willen en kunnen jouw data niet controleren – alles wat je met ons deelt is ‘waar’, maar aantoonbare fraude zullen wij met maatregelen beantwoorden. Aantoonbare fraude kan zijn, maar is niet gelimiteerd tot, het stelen van iemands identiteit (vb. doelbewust misleiden door iemand anders gebruikersnaam in te stellen als de eigen gebruikersnaam).

Wat blijft er op mijn apparaat nadat ik de app heb verwijderd?  

• Informatie met betrekking tot gesprekken.
• Informatie met betrekking tot je profiel.

Wat doen jullie met die data?

Wij slaan ze op en verder niets. Data worden en zullen niet worden gedeeld met derden voor private, politieke, sociale, economische, culturele, commerciële of private doeleinden. Onze data worden gewoon niet gedeeld. Daarmee dat er op dit moment ook geen sociale logins zijn voor Facebook, Google, of Twitter. Je data zijn jouw zaak.

Zijn er uitzonderingen op deze gegevensbescherming?

Nee.

Hoe lang bewaren wij je data?

Je data blijven op onze server voor onbepaalde tijd. Bij langdurige inactiviteit doen we grote kuis en dan zal je een nieuw profiel moeten opstellen zodra je een nieuw lidmaatschap van c@r aangaat.

Wat doen wij met je e-mailadres?

Je e-mailadres kan gebruikt worden voor het versturen van nieuwsbrieven. We hebben het nodig om je te laten inloggen en een paswoordherstelmail te sturen. Er wordt niks met derden gedeeld.

En de reclamebanners?

Hoe kan ik vergeten worden door Celloko?

Stuur een mail naar stefan.detrez (at) gmail.com met als titel ‘FORGET’. Je dient wel te mailen met het adres dat je verwijderd wil. Wij kunnen zo controleren of je niet iemand anders zijn gegevens laat verwijderen. We zullen je zo snel mogelijk ‘vergeten’ en je een bericht sturen zodra dat gebeurd is. Wij stellen daar geen vragen over. Ben je Celloko beu, dan ga je.

Traceren jullie mensen hun gaan en staan?

Nee, dat doen wij niet. Als je wil weten waar je was op een bepaald moment, dan kun je dat met bijvoorbeeld https://www.google.com/maps/timeline opzoeken.

Andere mensen kunnen toch zien waar ik ben?

Dat kan alleen als

1. jij de app gebruikt,
2. toestemming hebt gegeven om je locatie te (laten) kennen
3. én zichtbaar wil zijn op de kaart.

Dit gebeurt allemaal in realtime. Wij slaan niet op waar jij bent of waar je was. En waar je zal zijn kunnen we niet opslaan. Wil je niet zichtbaar zijn, dan dien je ‘onzichtbaar’ te kiezen in je profiel.

Wat als iemand toch met de gegevens gaat lopen?

Dan dien je Firebase aan te spreken: zij garanderen de bescherming van je data.

Onze belofte tot bescherming beperkt zich tot het delen, kopiëren, verspreiden van je data.

En als iemand anders iets met mijn publiekgemaakte data doet?

Wat jij op je profielpagina zet, wat jij allemaal deelt op welk vlak dan ook, is jouw eigen verantwoordelijkheid. c@r zal nooit de verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor problemen die jij of anderen hebben veroorzaakt door jouw gevoelige of ongevoelige informatie publiek te delen.

An app that you can use without having to worry about what happens to your data, that’s what we want to offer.

I, Stefan, as a Celloko-user, would never morally accept that its creator – yes, yours truly – messes with my data. I’d get mad and frustrated if there are problems with data, so I and my people make big efforts to ensure that your data is protected according to industry standards.

Having said this, if you use Celloko, you agree to this privacy policy.

What does Celloko do with your data?

Firebase-servers store:

• Your username (preferably your license plate, but that may also be something else, on condition it is legible on your vehicle.)
• Your status
• Your personal name
• Your phone number
• Your address
• Your e-mail
• Your password
• Your car brand
• Your country
• Your contacts
• Your conversation history

What! So much data! And my privacy?

If you want absolute anonymity, you create a unique and impersonal e-mail address, a password and you think up your own username that you put on your vehicle, so that people can find you. We only know your e-mail address, your password and your username. We have no means or reasons to verify the veracity of the data you provide. Only your e-mail address and your password have to match.

Our Firebase Server is not connected to a government service database that provides access to your personal and ‘official’ information. We do not want and can not control your data – everything you share with us is ‘true’, but demonstrable fraud can be answered by us with legal or correctional measures. Demonstrable fraud may be, but is not limited to, stealing someone’s identity with the conscious purpose to mislead other Celloko-users by setting someone else’s username as their own user name.

What do you do with these data?

We store them and nothing else. Data are and will not be shared with third parties for private, political, social, economic, cultural, emotional, corporate, commercial or private purposes. Our data are simply not shared. Your data is your business.

Are there exceptions to this data protection?

No.

How long do we keep your data?

Your data stay on our server for a limited amount of time. With long-term inactivity, we do a spring clean-up and you will have to set up a new profile as soon as you agree to a new c@r-membership. This means you need to login a least once a year to keep your profile on our servers.

What do we do with your email address?

Your e-mail address can be used for sending newsletters. We need it to let you log in and send a password recovery email. Nothing is shared with third parties.

And the advertising banners?

How do I reach c@r?

How can I be forgotten by c@r?

Send a mail to stefan.detrez (at) gmail.com with the title ‘FORGET’. You must mail with the address you want removed or provide a credible reason for the deletion of the other account. We will ‘forget’ you as soon as possible and send you a message as soon as that happens. We do not ask questions about this. If you grow tired of Celloko, then you go.

Do our people trace your whereabouts?

No, we do not. If you want to know where you were at a certain moment, you can do that with, for example, https://www.google.com/maps/timeline?pb

Yet other people can see where I am?

• While you use the app,
• when you have given permission to Celloko to know your location
• ànd you want to be visible on the map.

This all happens in realtime. We do not store where you are or where you were. If you do not want to be visible, you have to choose ‘invisible’ in your profile.

What if someone steals my data?

Then you should appeal to Firebase: they are responsible for the protection of your data. c@r complies with the security of authorisation requirements for Android and iOS-apps.

And if someone else does something with my publicized data?

What you publicly share is your own responsibility. Celloko will never be responsible for problems you or someone else has caused by sharing your sensitive or insensitive information in public.
